The Problem

The client already ran a successful local delivery business, Here is how we fixed Gocab broken website. He wanted to scale up, take his business online, and allow his customers to book deliveries directly from their phones or computers.

• Stuck Offline: Without a website or app, there was no automated way for customers to request a pickup or see prices.
• Pricing Guesswork: He needed an automated system that could accurately calculate delivery costs based on the exact distance between the pickup and drop-off points.
• No Online Payments: He had no way to securely accept payments upfront before a delivery was made.

The Solution

We built an Uber-style web application from scratch to take his entire delivery operation digital:

• Uber-Like Map & Routing: We built a clean interface that automatically tracks the user’s location, maps out the delivery route, and calculates the exact trip cost instantly.
• Real-Time Data (WebSockets): We integrated WebSockets so that data updates in real time on the screen, keeping everything fast and responsive.
• Paystack Integration: We hooked up Paystack as the main payment gateway, allowing customers to pay for their deliveries safely and instantly using their cards or bank transfers.
